The basic condition for admission to doctoral studies is the completion of a master’s degree and successful completion of the admission procedure.
Studies under the doctoral study program are conducted according to an individual study plan under the guidance of a supervisor. The condition for the proper completion of doctoral studies is the completion of a dissertation examination, which is a state examination, and the defense of a dissertation thesis, which is the final work. The study consists of a study part and a scientific part. The study part consists mainly of lectures, seminars and individual study of professional literature, the scientific part of the student’s individual or team scientific work, which is related to the topic of the dissertation thesis. Part of the full-time doctoral study is the performance of pedagogical activities or other professional activities related to pedagogical activities, in the amount of no more than four hours per week on average for the academic year in which the teaching takes place. Studies are based on a credit system and the doctoral student earns credits for the following activities: study part, scientific part, other activities, state exams.
